Browser Test I was having difficulties getting my (corrupted) Explorer 6 to properly display colours.
So I switched to Netscape 7.1 and found that (adhering to HTML 4 standards ^#$%#!@), it didn't display the Greek/symbol fonts. How about YOUR browser?
Using the "symbol" font, is this Greek? a b g d p DSQ
(it should look like αβγδπΔΣΘ)
or is it just
a b g d p DSQIs this text colored? red green blue Super / Subscripts: how do they look? Axj, Axn and w1R1+w2R2+...
and, of course
S an xn (which should look like Σ an xnNow if you visit some website and see the circumference of a circle written as 2pr (instead of 2πr), you'll know the author expected users to use MS Explorer !!
some Odd Characters
Y'all can avoid the HTML code:
<font face="symbol">S</font> xn
hoping to get Σ xn
and use, instead: Σ xn
which (hopefully) gives Σ xnHere are a few odd characters
