Excel Files.xls and .ZIP

However, all spreadsheets (but without the .ZIP'd versions) are here.

Notes:

  • Many spreadsheets have both .ZIP and .xls formats.
  • To run a spreadsheet, just Click on the File Name ...this sometimes works
  • To download a file to your PC, RIGHT-click on the File Name and select Save target
  • The .ZIPd files are smaller and must be unZIPd

big NOTE:

I use an ancient version of Excel, hoping praying that newer versions are backward compatible.
Alas, there's a bug in some of these old versions ... and you may get a message when trying to download, like this:
Run-time error '1004': Method 'DisplayAlerts' of object '_Application' failed
To fix it, do this:
  1. Right-click on the download button
  2. Choose: Assign Macro ...
  3. Choose: Edit
  4. Search for and delete all statements in all macros which say
    Application.DisplayAlerts = False
    or
    Application.DisplayAlerts = True
  5. Choose: File then Close and Return ...
  6. Try again to download ... and pray.
